From Warminster follow the a36 heading down black dog hill which is a 3 lane r …moreoad. At the bottom of the hill the road drops down to 2 lanes where there is large lay-by on the left. Keep following the A36 on a long straight into Standerwick. Approximately at the Somerset border there is another smaller lay-by on the left and an entrance on the right signposted Poplar Farm. Take the next turn on the right after that which is unsignposted next to a wooden telegraph pole. We are at the bottom of the gravel track. There’s plenty of room to park and turnaround once you get to the end of the track.

From Westbury drive through Dilton Marsh on the B3099 until you reach a T junction with the main A36 where you turn left towards Warminster. Take the next on the left after 100 yards when you see a green mileage sign, a telegraph pole and a wooden fence which is our neighbour. This is Foxes Drove but is unsignposted. We are at the bottom of the gravel track. There’s plenty of room to park and turnaround once you get to the end of the track.

From the Bell pub In standerwick head towards Warminster on the main A36 and go under the railway bridge. Carry on the A36 without taking the 1st left turn (which is the b3099 to Dilton Marsh). Take next on the left turn after 100 yards when you see a green mileage sign and a wooden fence which is our neighbour We are at the bottom of the gravel track. There’s plenty of room to park and turnaround once you get to the end of the track.
Essentials
Park sensibly in front of the pool building ensuring enough room for other customers.
Remove shoes as you enter and use one of our buckets to keep your kit with you the whole time.

Changing and poolside space is limited.
The pool is 10m x 4m with a shallow end of 1.1m and a deep end of 1.6m

This class is for school aged children who have an understanding of all 4 strokes. Swimmers are starting to develop good technique and can swim 10m Frontcrawl, breathing to the side, 10m backstroke with good technique and have basic skills for breatstroke and butterfly. Similar to Stage3/4 of the Swim England Badges.
